Job Details

We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail‑oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our vibrant Accounting + Finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play an integral role in accurately preparing our company's financial records and performance. You will be handling critical accounting tasks, such as preparing financial statements, analyzing costs, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Manage payroll functions, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and tax filings are prepared in a timely manner.

Analyze financial data and create forecasting models to guide strategic decision‑making and business planning.

Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions to manage company expenses.

Ensure compliance with all internal processes and controls as well as external laws and regulatory guidance.

Coordinate with the external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year‑end audit.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting process controls.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new systems that optimize productivity.

Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary.

Participate in cross‑departmental projects and uphold the principles of teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong focus on payroll management.

Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and procedures.

Proficiency in accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly high‑level Excel skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner.

Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
