Engineering Financial Analyst (Program Cost Controls)
ResponsibilitiesSupport Engineering Product Team Leads, Control Account Managers, and Program leads in completing monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis; manage monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs) and facilitate Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) inputs. Provide detailed earned‑value and financial analysis for budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions. Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
Conduct weekly cost and labor run analysis and drive cost control and schedule using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX reporting tools.
- Support creation of EACs on a quarterly basis and LREs on a monthly basis, including estimate of costs, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment at the Program/Product/Mission level.
- Perform detailed Earned Value and financial analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
- Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances.
- Manage EVMS process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly cost/labor analysis.
Required:
- University degree (bachelor’s) or equivalent experience with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar business systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Confidential security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred:
- Self‑sufficiency and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of leading and managing execution of processes and projects within a work area.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD, commensurate with experience. Annual incentive compensation and short‑term bonus programs may apply where eligible.
