OverviewThe Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) program team is seeking a Principal Cost Controls Analyst (P3) to support the $450M+ Japan Block 2 Licensed Production award and concurrent DCS contracts worth over $2B. The role involves establishing program controls, analyzing performance, and collaborating with U.S. and Japan-based program management.
What You Will Do- Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
- Provide timely support for ad hoc analysis reporting.
- Collaborate with Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership Team to support financial reviews and execution of the program.
- Support quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) and analyze vs Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to ensure compliant cost collection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, BW) or similar tools.
- Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting information to management.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast‑paced environment.
- Detailed experience preparing EACs.
- Excellent communication skills with peers, leadership, and customers.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Understanding of AOP, long‑range planning, program forecasting, and metrics.
- Experience identifying process improvements and implementing them in reporting for EAC development.
