Raytheon is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Defensive Systems portfolio of programs within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) SBU. This leader will join the Strike Initiatives (SI) SSBU finance team as the lead for the program area that includes EKV, NGI & RKV. This portfolio includes managing execution as well as some programs through close-out and/or termination.

This role involves typical financial products (proposals, EACs, forecast, cash management, cost budgeting, etc.) and program close-out financial management for terminated programs (NGI & RKV). Recent awards provide a base for long-term sustainment and growth of the EKV franchise.

In this role, a successful candidate will manage all finance related activities and must be able to think, rationalize, and make management decisions autonomously. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of finance and program controls, strong problem-solving abilities and good communication skills. Responsibilities include managing the financial forecasting and LRP, variance analysis, presenting at business level reviews, Estimates at Completion (EACs), settlement proposal development and supplier proposal assessments.

Focus will be on EKV baselining and execution of newly awarded contracts, ensuring financial stability and protecting the company profitability and cash position of portfolios through close-out.

Must be comfortable working alongside senior-level program directors, and cross-functionally with Contracts, Supply Chain and Legal. This position has managerial responsibilities over several Analysts. If the selected candidate is not located in the greater Tucson, AZ area, some travel to Tucson and other customer locations may be required.

• Provide leadership and supervise a team of Analysts while working closely with cross-functional partners
• Work closely with the customer community to execute contracts and protect the company financial positions
• Manage day-to-day operations while maintaining a view of long-term impact of decisions
• Finance staffing, coaching and building team strength
• Estimate At Complete (EAC), including program risk & opportunity management
• Financial Forecasting/FP&A – AOP & monthly forecast development
• Learn contractual (FAR) requirements of execution of terminated programs
• Partner with external customers to develop relationships
• Participate in and lead program & functional business reviews to ensure financial integrity

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 7 years experience
• Experience leading teams of professionals
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
• Experience performing financial analysis, such as funding profiles, sales forecasts, and variance analysis
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience supporting Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Long Range Planning (LRP);
  Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience preferred
