Corporate Finance Manager
Job Purpose:
Provide proactive and timely financial and commercial information, advice, and service as a business partner and trusted advisor to AHS and Corporate Division VPs and other stakeholders. Support compliance, business strategy execution, informed decision‑making, and business efficiency and effectiveness improvement. Direct financial management, control, reporting, planning, and maintenance of rolling forecasts in accordance with GAAP for Management Reporting (Profit Centers). Ensure accurate, timely, and well‑explained legal entity accounts and consolidated company financials.
Oversee and administer Global Accounts Receivable function. Apply financial management techniques and best practices appropriate within the software industry.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 15%.
- Reporting:
Review and analyze sales and gross margin to provide insight for VP of AHS and other stakeholders. Support preparation of financial accounts for audit readiness and accurate business activity explanation. Support and coordinate with other Finance Managers globally for consolidated reporting. Support and review all balance sheet reconciliations for MMS USA and MMS Canada. Support all divisional KLTD and KAC reporting requests as assigned.
Ensure project, product and customer profitability well understood and variances explained. - Budgeting:
Assist Corporate division VPs to prepare timely and robust budgets and forecasts for revenues, expenditure, and capital requirements. Oversight and management of Capex budgets and execution for AHS and Corporate Divisions. Provide financial guidance and support for capital expenditure justifications. Proficient in using budget planning tools (ideally Adaptive Planning). - Accounts Receivable Management and Administration:
Oversee the accounts receivables management for MMS USA and MMS Canada. Support and oversee all credit and collections management processes globally and establish best practices to ensure Global Days Sales Outstanding targets are met. Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and receipts. Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize risk. Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective AR management.
Optimize working capital by ensuring contracts entered into by divisions have appropriate terms and conditions, are compliant with company policy, and reasonable for the business. Coordinate and collaborate with Sales Operations function to ensure accurate Revenue recognition. - Systems:
Assist with optimizing business systems and provide Adaptive Planning guidance as an expert user. Use PowerBI, Adaptive Dashboards, Office Connect, and other tools for executive management reporting. Business owner of Harvest Time recording system; oversee operation and SAP time entry integration. Participate in SAP projects, especially related to Sales and Distribution and finance connections. - Payroll:
Assist with payroll function for MMS Canada and MMS USA, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with expatriate assignment administration and policy development. Assist HR with compensation and benefits programs for MMS USA and MMS Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in manufacturing, technology, software, or major audit companies.
- Experience supervising personnel and setting departmental objectives.
- Experience presenting to executive management.
- Experience working with US GAAP and/or IFRS, with advanced knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 840/842.
- Experience with SOX.
- Experience working with foreign currencies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills; ability to manipulate and consolidate large amounts of data.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations (including tax).
- Experience presenting financial information to Executive Leadership positions.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP; experience with Adaptive Planning, Power BI or other planning, forecasting and AI tools.
- Graduate degree or CPA certification.
- Experience with Harvest or Concur.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Japanese.
