Branch Relationship Banker

National Bank of Arizona (NBAZ) seeks an experienced Branch Relationship Banker to join our Downtown Tucson branch. The role focuses on sales and service, providing personalized banking solutions to new and existing customers.

• Performs full-service banking services to new and existing customers, focusing on sales and service, including new accounts, consumer loans, and client service issues.
• Resolves client concerns directly or refers them to appropriate bank department resources.
• Recommends other bank products and services, including commercial lending products.
• Follows up with clients as needed.
• Handles cash transactions, opens or updates accounts, and originates or closes consumer or small business loans.
• Resolves customer service issues and processes cash transactions and other customer service duties within the branch.
• Establishes, expands, and maintains strong customer relationships through personalized service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in sales, teller, new accounts, loan processing, or other directly related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Preferred prior experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.
• Working knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
• Solid knowledge of all retail products and services; basic knowledge of consumer lending applications.
• Proven customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective selling, cross‑selling, and referral skills.
• Strong mathematical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act.
