Overview
The Advanced Effectors and Space Finance team within the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to lead the financial management and oversight of a portfolio of contracts in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities- Provide key recommendations to senior team members based on analysis that enhances value for all stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and innovate the application of RMD practices, policies, and standards to meet customer requirements.
- Develop monthly forecasts, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and Long‑Range Plans (LRP) in partnership with functional partners, providing tactical support using financial tools such as RPlan, SAP, Business Warehouse, and Excel.
- Meet internal and external delivery deadlines with flawless work product, delivering predictable financial forecasts and briefing program and finance key team members in advance of decision‑making.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls, tools, and processes to support program cost and schedule control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of applicable work experience in financial management or leadership, OR an advanced degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience.
- Experience in financial planning and program controls, including the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process across various government contract types.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization, with the ability to frame and interpret issues for senior management.
- Experience implementing Earned Value Management, delivering IPMDAR and CSDR reports, and driving portfolio FP&A cadence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposals, develop business cases, and guide investment decisions in a capture environment.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $107,500 to $204,500 USD.
