Role Overview
The Advanced Effectors & Space organization within the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls to support a portfolio of development programs within the AET & IKCA Finance team. This role supports program cost controls, financial forecasting, earned value management activities, and contract deliverables across assigned programs.
Position location:
Tucson, Arizona, USA. The role is onsite.
- Execute monthly and quarterly contract deliverables.
- Manage Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOTs) with partner business units, including funding alignment and scope tracking.
- Support development of monthly financial forecasts for the portfolio in RPlan.
- Provide financial analysis and support to program leadership to enable compliant cost collection and reporting.
- Support program controls reporting and executive-level briefing activities.
- Utilize financial and earned value management systems, including SAP, APEX, PRISM, and related tools.
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting information to management and business teams.
- Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data sets.
- U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start.

- Experience working in matrixed organizational environments.
- Experience coordinating work across multiple functional disciplines.
- Experience supporting process implementation and cross-functional initiatives.
- Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse systems.

- Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
