FP&A Specialist
Raytheon, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is looking for a FP&A Specialist for the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) team. This role will focus on Rplan forecasting, current year annual operating plan, and the long range plan. This role will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of the NSMS organization.
Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills.
This position is being offered in an onsite capacity based on the needs of the business. This role will support a program that resides in Tucson, AZ time zone, but you can work from one of our Raytheon locations in AZ, Texas or MA.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with the NSMS FP&A Manager and NSMS Business Managers to complete monthly and quarterly close.
- Support ad hoc requests from Shipboard Missiles FP&A and variance analysis for bookings, sales, earnings and cash.
- Responsible for Element of Cost analysis, Rplan updates, and interfacing with NSMS finance team for inputs on key metric drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend solutions to optimize performance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Partner with program management, operations, or engineering teams to provide financial guidance and decision support.
- Contribute to the execution of strategic projects, including cost reduction initiatives, process improvements, and performance metrics development.
- Utilize RTX's financial systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance data analytics capabilities.
- Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Proven experience in financial planning and forecasting.
- Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphing, etc.).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
