Internal Audit Specialist

To function as team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of internal audit activities for the credit union. Perform and document internal audit actions involving, but not limited to, branch operations, lending, collections, operations, and finance. Provide audit results to applicable executive team and management members. Monitor and document management responses to audit findings. Assist with other audit and compliance related functions for the credit union.

Assist credit union departments and staff with audit and compliance related assistance. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Salary: $20.00- $25.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience

• Remain current on applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist credit union departments and staff with audit and compliance related matters.
• Assist NCUA examiners and CPA auditors in their annual engagements.

• Up to six months of similar or related experience.
• Equivalent to a high school education.

• Must have a general working knowledge of industry credit union regulations.
