Position:
Internal Quality Management System (QMS) Auditor
Location:
Tucson, AZ (Onsite)
Role Type: U.S. Citizenship required; U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret) required.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal QMS audits across Tucson sites and other Raytheon locations.
- Lead audit teams: select team members, develop audit plans, conduct opening and closing meetings, and prepare audit reports.
- Serve as liaison to the Enterprise Audit Team and Raytheon’s Certification Body (NQA) during site certification or recertification audits.
- Facilitate enterprise audit schedules, logistics, and corrective‑action closure.
- Perform root‑cause analysis for corrective actions and ensure timely implementation.
- Travel up to 25% as required for audits.
- University degree (or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry (or 12 years in lieu of a degree). At least 6 years of QMS auditing experience within aerospace.
- Experience auditing to AS9100 standards.
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Aerospace Auditor (AEA) certification.
- Lead Auditor certification.
- Experience leading audit teams and working independently.
Competitive salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD. Security ClearanceThe position requires a DoD Secret clearance. Applicants must be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance.
