** Exciting Opportunity for Overnight Pharmacist/Staff Pharmacist** ** Job Description** - Join our dynamic team as a Pharmacist, responsible for the safe and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to our diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with Physicians on drug selection and dosing, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate nursing staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals on medication safety and best practices.
- Lead medication safety initiatives and manage patient profiles to enhance care quality.
- Mix IV admixtures and nutritional supplements with precision and care.
- Ensure narcotic accountability while adhering to all state, federal, and DEA regulations.
- Work independently in a fast-paced inpatient acute environment with 44 beds and an emergency department.
** Shift Details** - Work a 7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off schedule from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no on-call responsibilities.
** Requirements** - Active AZ Pharmacist License, ACLS, and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital pharmacist staffing experience.
- Sterile compounding experience is essential.
- Board Certified and/or accredited pharmacy residency is preferred but not required.
** Skills & Experience** - Strong operational and people management skills that lead to high patient satisfaction.
- A results-oriented approach with a proven success in collaborative efforts to meet key goals.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
** Work Environment** - Clean, smoke-free, well-lit healthcare setting.
- Exposure to a considerable amount of video display and keyboard use; may involve irregular hours and frequent interruptions.
- Encounter various clinical situations and be ready to perform emergency care as needed.
