Home Care Scheduler (In-Person) Preferred Care at Home – Tucson, AZ

Pay: $19–$23/hour DOE (Salary option available for Head Scheduler)

Location: 2910 N Swan Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712

Schedule: Full-time, in-office only

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and highly organized Scheduler to join our growing Tucson office. This role is essential to ensuring seamless care for clients and strong support for caregivers.

You will manage the live schedule, coordinate shift coverage, communicate with caregivers and families, and help maintain an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment and handles multiple priorities with professionalism and urgency.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and update the live caregiver schedule, including new shifts, changes, and urgent coverage needs
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with caregivers, clients, and family members via phone, text, and email
  • Work closely with management, sales, recruiting, and marketing to understand staffing needs and provide scheduling support
  • Create a positive, engaging experience for clients, caregivers, and office staff
  • Maintain accurate shift notes, handoffs, and documentation to keep the team aligned
  • Provide constructive coaching to caregivers based on performance and client feedback
  • Uphold Preferred Care at Home’s values, communication standards, and customer service excellence
