Travel Inpatient Acute Care Pharmacist

Overview

Health Trust Workforce Solution External seeks a travel Pharmacist in Tucson, Arizona.

The Pharmacist will handle safe, accurate and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees and designated areas of the hospital. Responsibilities include collaboration with physicians on drugs and dosing, education of nursing staff, patients and physicians regarding medications, medication safety initiatives, patient profiles, avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reaction, mixing of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements, and narcotic accountability.

8pm-7am, 7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off. The Pharmacist will work Wed - Tue.

• 2+ years Exp Working in Specialty
• 2+ years Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting
• AZ Pharmacist License – Board Certified and/or accredited pharmacy residency (Preferred, not required)
• ACTIVE BLS (AHA)
• ACTIVE ACLS (AHA)
• EMR:
  Cerner
• Inpatient acute hospital experience required
• Pharmacist Skills & Hospital Experience
