Position: Registered Nurse Resident Care Coordinator - CLC (Memory Care)

The Residential Care Coordinator (RCC) is a Registered Nurse responsible for creating and communicating the nursing component of comprehensive interdisciplinary care plans tailored to each resident’s individualized needs. The RCC plays a crucial role in daily operations by guiding staffing, float rotation, and direct resident care while aligning with established standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in staffing direction and float rotation to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Guide nursing personnel in delivering resident care, aligning with standards and considering resident needs and staff qualifications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, facilitating effective communication and problem‑solving.
  • Delegate tasks to non‑licensed staff based on individual qualifications to promote coordinated care.
  • Interpret unit and medical center policies to nursing staff and contribute to unit‑level goal development.
  • Participate in unit staff meetings, huddles, committees, task forces, and professional organizations.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations of non‑licensed and licensed staff.
Qualifications
  • Full and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state or territory.
  • Current licensure; must obtain continuing education units (CEUs) on time.
  • Experience or ability to work in an interdisciplinary care environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
