Located in Tucson, AZ, the Brief Intervention Program (BIP) is a short‑term residential facility that provides enhanced services to male and female adolescents ages 12‑17. Individuals stay up to 30 days in a structured treatment setting that includes 24‑hour supervision and therapeutic services. The program is designed for adolescents in crisis who require active treatment in an environment with a high degree of oversight, intensive programming, and treatment.

The BIP features living facilities, education/schooling, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.

Direct Care Professionals provide direct supervision and assist with the day‑to‑day activity schedule setup for the individuals in the program. Direct support duties include helping individuals with their mental health, managing behaviors and emotional needs, de‑escalating crisis situations, implementing treatment plans, personal care (bathing, dressing), medication management, transport, and fostering social skills. Other duties include documenting progress for daily, weekly, and monthly logs, adhering to the activity schedule, attending clinical supervision meetings, and assisting with the planning and implementation of enrichment activities such as art projects, music groups, culinary arts, athletics (basketball, soccer, swimming), community outings, and adult‑transition prep.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.80 per hour

Various full‑time schedules available. Must have the ability to work weekends (schedules are subject to change).

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Six (6) weeks of behavioral health work experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education, or other related field OR 12 years of related experience
• Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex PTSD, co‑occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders

• Attend mandatory New Hire Orientation Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm (paid)
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License & pass DMV 36‑month history check
• Drug test within 24 hours of offer with negative results
• Pre‑employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
