Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry

We reimagine medication management and transform care for seniors and individuals with complex needs, and we are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Oro Valley, Arizona.

Schedule:

Saturday - Wednesday (Sat & Sun, 8:00am – 2:00pm; Mon – Wed, 9:00am – 5:30pm)

Pay: $23.00 per hour

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system accurately and on time to eliminate dispensing errors.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in the computer and cycle‑fill coding.
• Calculate and verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.
• Respond to customers with caring, understanding, and courtesy, and route calls as appropriate.
• Ensure all assigned prescriptions are completed within the regular shift.
• Receive, evaluate, process, and follow‑up on refills assigned, coordinating with doctors’ offices as needed.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems (e.g., document imaging, legacy pharmacy computer operating system).
• Assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, inventory, profiling orders for medical records, and filling prescriptions for dispensing as needed.
• Develop and learn cycle processes to meet delivery deadlines.
• Maintain data‑entry records for cycle medication, fill requests, and processed cycle orders requiring renewal in addition to new cycle orders.

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements);
  National Certification preferred (PTCB).

• 2+ years of related experience (or advanced degree).
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Problem‑solving with minimal direction.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, managing multiple tasks and strict deadlines.
• Quality‑mindful and motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
