The Therapist provides services to adult clients in Substance Abuse treatment. Therapists complete biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy services (individual, group, and family). Therapists are also responsible for discharge and after-care planning activities. The Therapist functions as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychiatric Providers, Nurses, Behavioral Health Technicians, and Specialty Providers.
ARC-Arizona is a program that provides comprehensive substance abuse services to adults in voluntary treatment. Programs on campus include intake, medical detox, residential, sober living, CD IOP, and CD PHP. Therapists are assigned to one primary program but are available to provide support to other programs as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
:
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Substance Abuse.
Experience: Experience with primary treatment of Substance Abuse.
Licensure: Active independent license with the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners in good standing: LPC, LCSW or LISAC. Healthcare Provider CPR, Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, Handle with Care with-in 90-days of hire and negative TB upon hire and annually thereafter. Certification in EMDR, Somatic Experience, Trauma-Informed Treatment preferred.
