In-home caregivers working in ZIP code 85747 in Tucson, AZ, typically serve clients in the Rita Ranch and Civano neighborhoods, fostering a familiar and manageable work environment. This area is well-connected by major roads such as Houghton Road and Valencia Road, ensuring easy commutes. Caregivers are matched with a single client, allowing them to focus on personalized care within a community close to their own residence.
HHAs may work under the direction of a care manager or registered nurse to provide non-medical care that supports a client’s health plan. That includes medication reminders (not administration), monitoring vitals like blood pressure and pulse, helping with mobility and exercises, and noting changes in the client’s condition for the nurse to follow up. The clinical structure is there, but the day is centered around the home.
