Position Summary

The Human Resource Administrator works under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Manager. The Human Resource Administrator follows established procedures to perform administrative tasks related to benefits, wellness, and employee engagement, learning and development programs. This position requires the ability to follow procedures, reliability in checking own work to ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

The Human Resource Administrator interacts with people in all levels of the organization as well as individuals outside the organization, so good communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations and deployment of initiatives related to the REDAR REACH Wellness program
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations and deployment of initiatives related to benefit programs
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations and deployment of initiatives related to employee engagement, learning and development
  • Assist with the administration of leave programs
  • Complete all departmental filing and scanning
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Other Duties

  • This position works under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Manager. This position performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures, and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Job

Requirements and Skills:

  • One-year experience in a Human Resource related field (benefit administration, wellness programs, payroll, recruiting/hiring, employee learning and development)
  • One-year of clerical experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and data entry skills

Minimum

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Specific Tasks and Focus Areas:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations and deployment of initiatives related to the Redar REACH Wellness program
  • Participate as an active member of the Safety and Wellness Committees
  • Assist with the design, development and deployment of Wellness challenges and initiatives
  • Monitor snack bar purchases, purchase and stock items, conduct inventory as required
  • Assist with the coordination and deployment of on-site clinics and lunch and learns
  • Update wellness bulletin boards monthly
  • Assist with the deployment and enforcement of safety initiatives
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations and deployment of initiatives related to benefit programs
  • Assist with scheduling, packet creation, meeting space set-up and collection of employee documents related to open-enrollment, benefit meetings, and 90-day benefit/conversion meetings
  • Assist with the research, set-up, and implementation of HRIS updates
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations and deployment of initiatives related to employee engagement, learning and development
