Description
Perform complex data analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges within the retail business (e.g., sales performance, inventory turnover, customer behavior, promotional effectiveness, operational efficiency).
Present findings and recommendations to various levels of management in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
Proactively identify areas where data can provide a strategic advantage or solve business problems.
Implement processes to monitor and improve the quality and integrity of data used for BI reporting.

Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience within the retail industry is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of retail KPIs, operations, and common challenges.
- Expertise with leading BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik Sense). Domo experience is strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of BI experience along with 5+ years in an advanced or managerial role
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google Big Query).
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles for reporting and analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.

We’re looking for someone with a strong academic foundation, ideally a bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related engineering field. A master’s degree is strongly preferred, as it carries significant weight within our BI leadership and peer community.
