Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Apply knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication.
• Collaborate as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment, using troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including the integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.
• Maintain a full‑time, 100% onsite presence.

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Active and transferable US government‑issued Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools such as Git Lab, Jenkins, and Azure Dev Ops.
• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification requirements (including an operating system certification).
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX, and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.
• High‑performance computing experience in a Linux environment.

• Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
