The Raytheon Industry 4.0 Connected Factory Intelligence team is seeking an experienced Industry 4.0 Data Architect. The candidate will be responsible for the optimization of data architecture, acquisition, and storage to align with business needs, writing algorithms to interpret raw data for business use, and preparing data for advanced analytics. This role will be a critical technical liaison between the business units and the ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various sites and business units.

• Manage and design data architecture to ensure data is accessible, secure and reliable.
• Define data flow guidelines, ETL pipelines and processes.
• Define efficient SQL query guidelines and layers.
• Oversee database schema and mapping for all product requirements.
• Manage cloud connectivity to data lakes, warehouses, event hubs and MQTT.
• Gather, clean, and analyze data to assist customers in making business decisions.
• Design data systems for AI/ML and predictive analytics within I40.
• Expected to travel 15% of the time.

• Evaluate new technology and large enterprise data model platforms.
• Create an enterprise data management framework and blueprint.
• Act as a data steward focused on implementing policies, procedures and practices to ensure data integrity, quality and security.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies, secure digital architectures, data engineering and data analytics.
• Experience creating and managing databases, designing data architecture and defining data flow and SQL query guidelines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Experience with cybersecurity compliance.
• Ability to oversee Ignition architecture, system administration and gateway configurations.
• Demonstrated experience with data validation, visualization, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Proven API creation and deployments.
• Generation of comprehensive reports highlighting key findings and trends.
• System administration for Ignition, SQL and Dev Ops.
• Ability to oversee database server administration.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD – 251,600 USD. The range is a good faith estimate of all experience levels.
