Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II – Tucson, AZ. RTX Corporation.

Location:

Position type:
Onsite. U.S. citizenship required. Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Top Secret) required prior to start date.

• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests within authority.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Supporting ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in creating, reviewing, and updating cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing.
• Overseeing ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures as outlined in governing documentation.
• Intermittently traveling to other Raytheon locations (10‑20%).

• Typical requirement:
  Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening.
• Experience in information technology and compliance‑based auditing using RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and/or non‑defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA.
• Experience with computer technologies (databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, troubleshooting, electronics).
• Experience in physical security, police work, investigations, or Border Patrol.
• Experience in project, program, office, senior administration, or account management.

• Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments.
• Experience with information system security tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, etc.
• Familiarity with implementing government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory compliance standards.
• Experience executing Assessment & Authorization processes within the RMF.
• Experience providing technical security consultation for complex, cross‑domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments.
• Familiarity with large multi‑facility networks, including Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs.
• Familiarity with cyber incident response execution and management.

The salary range for this role is $101,000 USD – $203,000 USD.

Relocation assistance is not available.
