Job Summary
This Senior Analyst (P2) High‑Performance Computing (HPC) candidate will provide Raytheon Digital Technology with HPC administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. The role requires understanding Windows Server internals, Linux fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, AD, server replication), and will involve moderate‑scope troubleshooting of HPC hardware, software, and operating systems.
What You Will Do- Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
- Help develop and implement new technologies based upon industry best practices.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems at a moderate scope and complexity, including the integration of HPC hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Utilize software tools, automated scripts, batch schedulers, hardware, and system‑level troubleshooting to lead and support the engineering community.
- Perform operating‑system tuning to maximize performance on high performance computing systems and standardize processes across DT functions.
- Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes and procedures; mentor junior team members.
- Obtain required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an Operating System Certification within six months of hire.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
- Experience in Windows and/or Linux server environments, including directory services management and system hardening.
- Experience maintaining a medium‑sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Experience with HPC scheduling and monitoring tools (SLURM, Grid Engine, Ganglia).
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and HPC in a Linux environment.
- Project leadership or management experience in a DT domain and advanced scripting skills.
- Active DoD Top‑Secret clearance (preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with Windows and Unix security hardening, system integrations, advanced troubleshooting, and LDAP integration.
- Experience in a medium to high‑complexity Unix environment (Linux, Solaris).

Salary and IncentivesSalary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD. Eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs, subject to performance and company factors.
