This Senior Analyst (P2) in High‑Performance Computing will provide HPC administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system tuning, supporting engineering communities, and maintaining security compliance.
What You Will Do- Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
- Help develop and implement new technologies based on industry best practices.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems at a moderate scope and complexity, including integration of HPC hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Utilize software tools, automated scripts, and batch schedulers to lead and support the engineering community.
- Perform OS tuning to maximize system performance on HPC systems.
- Work across DT functions to standardize processes and procedures.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes and procedures.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Obtain required Department of Defense Directive 8140 / 8570 Certifications (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent and an Operating System Certification) within six months of hire date.
- Relocation support provided to the selected applicant if eligible under company policy.
- U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start date.
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum two years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience in Windows and/or Linux Server Environments, including directory services management and system hardening.
- Experience maintaining a medium‑sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Must obtain DOD Directive 8140 / 8570 certifications within six months of hire date.
- Experience with HPC scheduling and monitoring tools (SLURM, Grid Engine, Ganglia) highly desired.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- HPC experience in a Linux environment.
- Project leadership, management, or project management experience in a DT domain.
- Basic to advanced scripting experience.
- Active DoD Top‑Secret Clearance.
- Advanced hands‑on experience with Windows and Unix security hardening, systems integrations, advanced troubleshooting, and authentication service integration (LDAP).
- Unix (including Linux and Solaris) experience in a medium to high complexity environment.
- Relocation eligible under company policy.
- Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 (USD).
