Position: Spanish Language Linguist / Translator with Security Clearance
** This position is contingent upon contract award
** Amentum is seeking a Spanish Language Linguist / Interpreter to support the Joint Interagency Task Force - Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC) in Tucson, AZ. JIATF-CC operates under U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and operational coordination in counter-cartel and counter-transnational criminal organization missions. In this role, you will deliver actionable intelligence, ISR tactical support, and facilitate interagency collaboration to directly impact national security.

Job Duties:

* Provide Spanish-language simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for meetings and operational coordination.
* Provide written translation and review of analytic, operational, and intelligence products.
* Provide interpretation support at the General/Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) level.
* Operate Sennheiser (or equivalent) interpretation equipment.
* Translate technical documents containing military, intelligence, and law enforcement terminology.
* Maintain engagement records and translation/interpretation activity logs.
* Responsible for assisting in the development of intelligence planning, intelligence systems architecture requirements, and intelligence training.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS SCI).

Note:

US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by and accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
* Must possess a minimum Level 4 (Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking, as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, or equivalent Government-recognized assessment. Documentation of proficiency shall be provided to the Government upon request. Compensation Details:
$70,000 - $120,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
