- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Maintain Windows Server and Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, server replication methods, RAID, and data backup technologies.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
- Develop solutions and documentation to resolve a variety of technical problems.
- Support systems that are operational 24x7, occasionally requiring work beyond standard hours.
- Travel up to 5% of time.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Must hold a transferable U.S. government‑issued secret security clearance prior to start.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Strong Windows and Linux administration experience.
- Experience with Linux/RHEL administration, Active Directory/Windows Domain administration, MECM, VMware, and recovery enterprise suites.
- Must obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.
- Active DoD TS certification and an operating system certification.
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
- In‑depth Windows Server experience.
- Experience with data storage, NAS, SAN technologies and solutions.
- Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SMECP, or Exchange.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
- Scripting experience.
Salary range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD.
