Field Service Technician – Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair network and wireless infrastructure, including access points.
- Support and troubleshoot POS systems, Client NUC computers, and kitchen display systems.
- Relocate, mount, and configure digital order status boards and mobile pickup display systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Perform break‑fix services and IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
- Ensure minimal system downtime and maintain compliance with client service level agreements (SLAs) within a 4‑to‑6‑hour response window.
- Travel extensively to multiple customer locations and plan routes efficiently.
- Adapt to changing schedules and service priorities.
- Complete remote training and administrative tasks as required.
- Successfully complete client certification training and exam requirements.
- Maintain professional communication with staff and management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive client experience.
- Participate in rotating on‑call support and occasional overtime as needed.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment.
- Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware, including PCs, printers, and POS systems.
- Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using ticketing or service management systems.
- Professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with end users and management.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively between client locations.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet service‑level commitments.
- Experience supporting laser printers and Fujifilm large‑format printers.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- Experience with Lexmark, Client, Dell, or Lenovo hardware.
- Prior experience supporting retail, restaurant, or hospitality technology environments.
- Experience with wireless networking and infrastructure support.
$16.50 – $22.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Pay may vary based on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
