Senior Principal High Performance Computing (HPC) Administrator (Manager, Information Workplace Services - P4)
Raytheon Digital Technology – Classified Information Services | Tucson, AZ | Onsite Position
Security Clearance:
DoD Secret (Active; requires existing after day1)
Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500
What You Will Do- Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
- Help develop and implement new technologies based on industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot high‑scope and high‑complexity issues involving the integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HPC hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Perform OS tuning to maximize system performance on HPC systems.
- Standardize processes and procedures across DT functions.
- Partner with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes and procedures.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Obtain required DoDD 8140/8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent and an Operating System Certification) within 6months of hire.
- University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in Windows and Linux Server environments, directory services management, and system hardening.
- Experience maintaining a medium‑sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- HPC scheduling and monitoring tools (e.g., SLURM, Ganglia, Prometheus, Grafana).
- HPC hardware troubleshooting.
- Project leadership or management experience in a DT domain.
- Basic to advanced scripting experience.
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Windows and Linux security hardening, systems integration, and authentication service integration.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Engineer.
- Cloud‑HPC management experience.
- Provisioning and automation (Ansible, IPMI, iLO, iDRAC, etc.).
