Senior System Administrator supporting classified programs in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment. Requires 100% on‑site 3rd shift support (Mon‑Fri 11:00PM‑8:00AM) with a 12% shift differential, and up to 10% domestic travel.
Responsibilities (What You Will Do)- Provide IT systems administration across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Design, manage, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication.
- Collaborate as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
- Use advanced troubleshooting techniques for moderate‑to‑high complexity IT problems involving hardware and operating systems.
- Manage data RAID, backup uses, and recovery technologies.
- Install, configure, and support software applications for end users.
- Partner with cybersecurity professionals to uphold security requirements.
- Develop documentation and train end users on advanced IT processes.
- Ensure 24×7 operational availability, including work beyond standard hours when necessary.
- Travel domestically up to 10% of the time as business needs dictate.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a university degree (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, backup and recovery solutions.
- Preferred DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent OS certification).
- Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and DoD/RMF compliance.
- Experience with NAS/SAN storage technologies and solutions.
- Familiarity with IT project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX or other virtualization platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and Exchange.
- High‑Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
- Expertise in scripting.

$68,900 – $131,100 USD (range based on experience).
