Test Equipment Engineer (TE Integration and Cybersecurity)

Job Type: Onsite; U.S. citizens only;
DoD Secret clearance required

Responsibilities
  • Provide cybersecurity compliance guidance for production and procurement of test equipment.
  • Support flight test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems.
  • Develop cybersecurity‑compliant test equipment (Linux, iOS, Windows).
  • Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware.
  • Troubleshoot production and development test equipment to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate test equipment into controlled networks or enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure test equipment compliance using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally sourced software.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect availability or test integrity on the test equipment.
  • Support all required reviews prior to implementation of any changes to the test equipment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with systems administration of Linux, networking, and/or Windows (desktop or server).
  • Experience with user account management, software installation, and technical customer support.
  • Independent problem‑solving of hardware/software issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in STEM.
  • DoD 8570.01M IATII certified credentials (e.g., Sec+, CISM, CySA+).
  • Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
  • Experience with network infrastructure architecture and operation (Active Directory, group policy, file sharing, NIS, DNS).
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, vCenter, vSphere, ESX).
