Scientific Analyst I, Chemistry & Biochemistry (Part-Time)
In this part-time role, you will contribute to the continued development of high-throughput data acquisition systems for our novel tabletop isotope ratio mass spectrometers. You will collect and manage large amounts of data and work with our research partners to improve system performance. You will maintain and update the device's software and firmware, support a complex sensor system (a large array with 1,700+ channels that detect signals), and help move data efficiently.
You will also assist with hardware tuning, as well as help test and troubleshoot the machines to make sure they work correctly after updates or when deployed. In this role, you will assist a team of scientists by helping operate, improve, and troubleshoot the isotope ratio mass spectrometer, with a focus on software, electronics, and data handling.
