RTX Corporation respects our partnership with the Training with Industry (TWI) program, which is designed to provide military personnel with industry experience and insights. This partnership allows military members to work within RTX's business units, such as Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon, to gain valuable industry knowledge and skills that they can bring back to their military roles. The program aims to enhance the collaboration between the defense industry and the military, fostering a better understanding of industry practices and innovations that can benefit both sectors.

While assigned to the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems Requirements and Capabilities team in Tucson, AZ, the U.S. Army Train with Industry (TWI) officer will be responsible for supporting Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems Ground based Air Defense and Precision Fires munitions programs as a U.S. Army ammunition subject matter expert. The TWI officer will also support Raytheon's contested logistics / regional sustainment framework program.

What

You Will Do
  • Develop relationships with Raytheon Land and Air Defense System program managers
  • Support of Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) Program teams to include senior leaders with synchronizing of cross‑business unit capabilities, identifying and developing key customer interests, supporting requirements assessments, U.S. Military customer engagements, and execution of aftermarket sustainment solutions in support of programs
  • Work closely with Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) colleagues, international R&C country teams, Raytheon Functional Partners, Specialty Engineering, Product Support, and Land and Air Defense Systems programs as appropriate on ammunition sustainment and regional sustainment framework projects
  • Support ammunition aftermarket sustainment requirements identification and capabilities development for U.S. Army GBAD, CUAS, and Precision Fires products that are aligned to the Raytheon portfolio
  • Support Raytheon leadership with engagements with U.S. Army leaders
  • Analyze customer information associated with Army ammunition sustainment and assess key performance parameters
  • Work closely with Land and Air Defense Systems program leadership, Product Support Leadership, and Specialty Engineering Leadership to provide ammunition subject matter expertise in support of U.S. Army readiness efforts
  • Conduct internal and external briefings
  • Approximately 10% of annual domestic travel to support customer engagements and trade shows

Qualifications You Must Have
  • U.S. Army Warrant Officer CW2 or higher with ammunition and logistics management experience
  • To be eligible for this Department of Defense Training with Industry Partnership, you must be selected by your command for this opportunity
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Understanding of U.S. DoD procurement, fiscal and regulatory environments
  • General sustainment management and U.S. Army sustainment experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with special focus on cross‑cultural relationships
  • Collaborative history with military leaders
