Job Title
New position to support expansion of and long-term, IT infrastructure needs
Support global validation and engineering teams in Mossville (IL), Tucson (AZ), Brisbane (Australia), and Bangalore (India)
Overall team is responsible for testing bi-annual Client’s product line used by global mining customers as part of the staffed and autonomous surface and underground mining operations within self-managed IT environment.
Variety of Windows server, SQL, etc. versions are concurrently maintained to ensure Mine Star product compatibility across an array of commercially available and supported IT infrastructure.
ResponsibilitiesProvide IT administration for Client’s global validation environment. Responsibilities include administering access to test servers, ensuring servers are up to date with regular security patches and updates to Window server VMs and Unix VM, generate and manage security certificates, troubleshooting various issues within validation environment, monitoring server health and identifying any performance concerns within environment, maintaining SQL databases for each test cluster, coordinate necessary updates with global corporate IT, engineering, and validation teams.

Windows server 2016 – 2022 administration

- Experience using VMWare to manage Windows and Unix VMs

- Ubuntu OS experience
- LDAP
- English proficiency.
- Ability to work in a complex work environment.
- Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural team environment.
- 10 years of IT administration and support experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent professional certification (Ex. Microsoft).
(Desired) Relocation to the Peoria, IL area but will accept candidate working in Pittsburgh or Tucson Client’s locations.
