Systems Administrator, Unix/Linux
What You Will Do
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
- Working as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
- Full time 100% Onsite position
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux.
- Experience in one of the following:
Active Directory, VMware, MySQL, networking administration experience.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher.
- Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery tools such as Git Lab, Jenkins, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
- Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESXi and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and union status. Additional incentive compensation is possible but not guaranteed.
