Senior System Administrator (Tucson, AZ)

Position requires an active transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance prior to start. Full‑time onsite role. 100% onsite. Travel to other U.S. domestic locations up to 10% per year.

• Administer heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Apply knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and server replication.
• Troubleshoot moderate to high‑scope technical problems, integrating hardware and operating systems.
• Configure and maintain data RAID, backup, and disaster‑recovery technologies.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to meet security requirements.
• Document and provide training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
• Support 24x7 systems and respond to after‑hours work as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required; active transferable secret clearance prior to start.
• Proficient with Linux or Windows administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, VMware, backup and recovery.
• Must obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months.

• DoDD 8140/8570 certification and operating‑system certification.
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
• Knowledge of NAS, SAN, and data‑storage technologies.
• Familiarity with IT project‑lifecycle management processes.
• Experience with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, ESX, or other virtual computing methods.
• Support experience for engineering software, simulations, and hardware development.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.
• High‑performance computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
• Programming or scripting skills.

$68,900 – $131,100 USD per year.
