Network Administrator, Senior Analyst, Tucson, AZ ONSITE

Senior Analyst, Network Administrator (P2) – Onsite – Tucson, AZ. Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship.

• Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks.
• Plan, evaluate, coordinate, and perform installation or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements for data/voice communication networks.
• Develop technical expertise in all areas of voice and data network hardware and software interconnection and interfacing (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers, encryptors).
• Work with network management software platforms.
• Propose solutions to management to meet current and future communications requirements, optimizing cost savings, redundancy, and uptime.
• Prepare or ensure appropriate network documentation (operational instructions, technical diagrams, etc.) and develop documentation when none exists.
• Provide regular monitoring and network analysis for short‑ and long‑range planning of in‑house systems.
• Assist with coordination of third‑party maintenance or vendor support for network equipment.
• Work outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends) as needed.
• Follow established procedures under general supervision.

• Apply Network Engineering skills to defense‑oriented programs.
• Obtain certifications in Security+ within 6 months and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) within one year.

• University degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems, including software upgrades.
• Active and transferable U.S. Secret Security Clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship.

• Certifications in Security+ within 6 months and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) within one year.
• Cisco ISE experience with 802.1X, Solar Winds, and setting up client‑server environments for government networks.
• Experience with current cabling and fiber standards.
• Experience with access control lists, security posture, and vendor best practices.
• Experience with Visio diagramming and design capabilities.
• 1–2 years of experience with network management software.
• Willingness and availability to travel domestically as needed.
• Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of encryption devices.
• Effective customer service skills, including oral and written communication.
• Experience with platforms such as IP telephony, NTP servers, Gem One, and Solar Winds.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Experience with classified computing, STIG compliance, and network refreshes.
• Current DoD Top Secret security clearance (preferred).

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 per year.
