Job Summary

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the strategic administration, architecture, security, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization's Microsoft 365 environment and related technology systems. Serving as the primary technical authority for Microsoft 365 technologies, this role leads the design, configuration, and optimization of SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive, Exchange Online, Entra , Intune, and other cloud-based collaboration platforms.

This position combines deep technical expertise with a strong commitment to end-user success, ensuring employees have reliable, secure, and effective technology solutions that support business objectives. The IT Systems Administrator evaluates organizational needs, develops and implements technology solutions, establishes governance standards, resolves complex technical challenges, and guides users in adopting and maximizing Microsoft 365 capabilities. The role exercises significant independent judgment in system design, platform administration, security management, and business process improvement while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on technology-related initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer, architect, and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive, Exchange Online, Entra , and Intune.
• Lead SharePoint strategy, governance, site architecture, permissions management, content organization, and document management solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain collaboration, communication, and information management solutions that support organizational objectives.
• Analyze business requirements and develop technology solutions that improve productivity, workflow efficiency, knowledge sharing, and user experience.
• Serve as the organization's primary resource for Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, security, and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance, consultation, and direct support to employees regarding Microsoft 365 technologies, business applications, and workplace technology solutions.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues impacting users, business processes, and enterprise systems, identifying long-term solutions and process improvements.
• Manage identity, access, licensing, authentication, and security controls across enterprise platforms.
