** Job Description*
* SOSi is seeking a JIRA Administrator to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.
Essential
Job Duties:
+ Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems.
+ Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements.
+ Integrate JIRA with Git Lab, Confluence, and other Dev Ops tools.
+ Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration.
+ Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality.
** Qualifications*
* Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
** OR
* * five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration.
+ Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows.
+ Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation.
+ Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management.
+ Experience integrating JIRA with Git Lab, Confluence, or other Dev Ops tools.
+
Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring is required.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired
Qualifications:
+ Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification.
+ ITIL Foundation Certification.
