Pathology Manager

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Pathology Manager to lead technology-driven pathology operations in our innovative IT & software-focused lab environment. In this role, you will manage pathology information systems, oversee implementation and optimization of software tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance diagnostic workflows, data quality, and system reliability. You'll drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory and security compliance, and support integrations with enterprise platforms while mentoring staff in a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pathology information systems and related lab technology platforms
• Oversee implementation, configuration, and optimization of pathology software tools
• Collaborate with pathologists, lab staff, and IT teams to improve workflows and data integrity
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards across pathology systems
• Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage vendor relationships, upgrades, and issue escalation for pathology applications
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials for end users
• Support integration of pathology systems with enterprise software and data platforms
