P&C Licensed Underwriter Assistant

A company is looking for an Underwriter Assistant to support Binding Authority Underwriters by evaluating and classifying insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities Examine application forms, inspection reports, and other documents to assess risk factors Review company records to evaluate insurance amounts and potential loss risks Coordinate with underwriters to ensure accurate processing of new and renewal risks

Required Qualifications P&C license required Associate or bachelor's degree in insurance or accounting preferred;
High School Diploma or GED required 1 - 2 years' experience in a similar position Proficient with MS Office Suite Ability to maintain confidentiality
