Position: Technical Product Support (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated individual in Technical Product Support (m/w/d) who, with chemical expertise, service orientation, and communication skills, ensures an excellent customer experience.

Your tasks:

  • Independent and proactive support of our customers, processing of customer inquiries, and implementation of sales-promoting measures
  • The focus is on processing customer inquiries, consulting, and selling products that require explanation with a knowledge focus on chemistry
  • You are available to our customers as a problem solver and idea generator for all questions, mainly by telephone, but also using other tools such as chat functionalities, etc.
  • Independent creation and active follow-up of offers including proactive customer communication
  • Consultation on products that require explanation with a focus on chemistry and intensive cooperation with internal interfaces to ensure efficient processes
  • Maintenance and documentation of customer and offer data in SAP and CRM systems
  • Close cooperation with the outside sales team, suppliers, and departments

What you bring with you:

  • Completed scientific or commercial training (e.g., CTA, PTA, laboratory technician) or a chemistry degree or a comparable qualification or relevant professional experience
  • Ideally, experience in internal sales or in handling products that require explanation
  • Good to profound chemical knowledge, e.g., in the areas of products, market, customers, and suppliers
  • Fluent German and good English skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP is an advantage), good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and willingness to learn new systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable professional and excellent customer service
  • Structured, detail-oriented working method with strong problem-solving skills
  • Organizational talent and a strong service and orientation to services
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hybrid working environment
