For our clients’ production site of functional filler we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Supply Chain Management to take full responsibility for the entire supply chain process — from order intake to final delivery. This role includes leadership across procurement, production, inventory and logistics, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence and efficiency. The position operates within a matrix organization and collaborates also with the corporate headquarter.

This role reports directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize the entire supply chain from customer order intake to delivery.
  • Ensure cost‑efficient procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution processes.
  • Guarantee customer deliveries meet the required quality, quantity, and timing standards.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing costs.
  • Lead production planning in alignment with sales orders, forecasts and capacity.
  • Oversee strategic and operational purchasing activities, with specific responsibility the US subsidiary.
  • Lead and manage production operations, including direct supervision of Managers and employees.
  • Take full responsibility for warehouse operations, material availability and inventory accuracy.
  • Lead and motivate supply chain staff, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Ensure all planning, procurement, production, and transactions are executed within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Monitor and analyze SCM KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Manage supply chain budgets and personnel resources effectively.
  • Collaborate within a matrix organization structure, working closely with the German headquarter to align strategies and processes.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, production and logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in D365 is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
