Night Shift Parking Lot Sweeping Operator; Tucson

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Sweeping Operator to join our night‑shift team and head up the Tucson operation.

Type: Full‑time.
Location requirement: Must reside in Tucson, AZ.

Pay: DOE (Depends on Experience).

Shift Times:

• Sunday - Thursday from 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM (4–10 hours shifts)

• Safely operate heavy sweeping equipment to clean parking lots and streets.
• Perform pre‑departure and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle is road‑worthy (checking fluids, tires, belts, lights).
• Navigate Arizona highways safely.
• Perform sweeping operations in the Tucson area.
• Use basic hand tools for maintenance (changing tires, checking fluid).
• Use mobile apps or digital logs for routing/GPS and reporting.

• Operate sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and lots of trash, leaves and other debris.
• Ensure supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating sweeper.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Notify Shift Lead/Fleet Mechanic of any concerns while operating the vehicle.
• Practice operating best practices.
• Immediately report any unsafe situations/service calls to Shift Lead before attempting service.
• Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings as required.
• Work with Shift Lead/Operation Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify on‑road issues.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Shift Lead, including assisting other company drivers.
• Notify Shift Lead of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.
• Provide a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.
• Complete job route sheet with information and leave with customer when required.
