Seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations for an aerospace manufacturing site. This role will manage a team of 4 buyers, oversee supplier performance, drive cost savings, ensure material availability, and support production goals. The position is part of the Site Leadership Team and reports to the Business Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site procurement activities, sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management
  • Manage inventory, material planning, SIOP, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and inventory targets
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) through sourcing and supplier qualification
  • Drive supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implement lean practices, Kanban, consignment, and inventory optimization programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, FAA/FAR regulations, and applicable government requirements
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers and supply chain professionals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 7–10 years of procurement/supply chain experience; aerospace industry experience highly preferred
  • Experience leading procurement operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in electronic component/material purchasing
  • Knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, inventory control, MRP/ERP systems, and SIOP
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Kanban, and supplier inventory programs
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
