Responsibilities- Evaluate and coordinate training needs to improve metrics and system accuracy.
- Improve process flows for assemblies in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
- Resolve production issues to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available.
- Analyze bills of material in an MRP system; release and track work orders and material through the assembly process.
- Support material supply and demand, preparing work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
- Propose solutions to mitigate work stoppages due to material order slips.
- Interface with internal customers.
- Lead projects or teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage hand‑on material throughout its life cycle, issuing to work orders or projects, handling returns to suppliers, and shipping to customers.
- Directly support CORE and other continuous improvement activities.
- University degree or equivalent experience, with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in supply chain/production control and scheduling.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government–issued security clearance prior to start date.
- Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems.
- Experience with government and depot‑type processes.
- Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and MS Office 365 applications.
- Ability to read and evaluate parts lists and work in a production planning system.

Specific benefits depend on the business unit and collective‑bargaining agreements. Compensation ranges from $68,900 to $131,100 USD.
