Material Program Manager (MPM)

Location:

Tucson, AZ (US‑AZ‑TUCSON) – on‑site. This role requires U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret security clearance.

• Brief program and customer leadership teams on supply‑chain execution, material constraints, and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans.
• Manage material sales forecasting, material budgets, and monthly/quarterly earned‑value financial reporting.
• Execute the make/buy/where process.
• Assist with generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW).
• Generate Supplier Request for Information, Proposals, and Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes.
• Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re‑Activation requests.
• Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement plan execution to meet program cost and schedule objectives.
• Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

• Experience managing budgets.
• Experience managing suppliers or working with suppliers.
• Experience using supply‑chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis).

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
