Material Program Manager - AMRAAM

Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the Air Dominance Portfolio located in Tucson, AZ. This role requires a self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can drive change through creative problem‑solving. The MPM will act as a liaison between the Program Office, Engineering, and the Supply Base, defining material and procurement strategies in alignment with evolving program requirements in a fast‑paced Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) environment.

The position is critical to identifying supply chain risks, developing mitigation plans, managing supplier performance, and supporting monthly financial Earned Value reporting.

Location:

1151 E Hermans Rd, BLDG 848, Tucson, AZ (US‑AZ‑TUCSON-848).

• Brief program and customer leadership teams on supply chain execution, material constraints, and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans.
• Manage material sales forecasting, material budgets, and monthly/quarterly Earned Value financial reporting.
• Execute make/buy/where process.
• Assist with generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW).
• Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes.
• Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re‑Activation requests.
• Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement plan execution to meet program cost and schedule objectives.
• Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues.

Travel domestically and internationally as required.

• A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

• Experience managing budgets.
• Experience managing and/or working with suppliers.
• Experience using supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis).

Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
