Maintenance Tech

Overview

We are Fellowship Square Tucson, a not-for-profit senior living community seeking a hardworking, dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our Christian Care Family. We are looking for responsible, professional individuals who want to provide a superior hospitality and customer service experience to our residents who call us home, rather than doing "just a job."

This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.

• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and related maintenance tasks.
• Complete work orders and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Self-direct work and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Communicate with and relate well to the elderly.
• Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance work; prior professional experience with commercial and/or residential property maintenance is a plus.
• Acquire a fingerprint clearance card from the State of AZ within the first month of employment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work well independently or in a team environment.
• Available to work varying shifts as needed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action and remain calm during emergency situations.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
• Be a team player and a hard worker.

Shift: Monday–Friday; occasional on-call for weekends and after hours.
